About Millstone Bakery

     Millstone Bakery was founded in 2014 by Erik Bleys and his wife, who wanted to introduce Plano to the high-quality ingredients and flavors from their youth in Belgium. In Belgium, bakeries can be found on every corner filled with the most exquisite baked goods. The difference in quality came from the use of natural ingredients, with no artificial flavoring, preservatives, margarine, or high-fructose corn syrup. Erik knew that following those guidelines would be the recipe to success in Plano and has kept his pledge to only use real ingredients to this day.

 

    In 2021, Erik was ecstatic to continue the family legacy by passing the torch to his oldest daughter, Francesca, who now runs the bakery alongside her father. Francesca grew up in the bakery, working throughout high school and college before heading to nursing school. After graduating, she returned to the bakery and the father-daughter duo has continued Millstone’s success as one of the highest-rated bakeries in DFW!
